The photovoltaic power plant

The Photovoltaic Power Plant of the Casablanca Slaughterhouses is one of the flagship projects carried out by Casa Prestations. It has been established for an amount of 12 million Dirhams and is one of the effective plants perfectly in line with the policy of the Kingdom of Morocco in terms of adoption and encouragement of renewable energy.

This plan been designed and implemented to ensure real-time production of renewable energy from this plant, spread over an area of 8,487 m² and a power of more than 1,596 KWp.

Actually, the renovation of the cold system of the slaughterhouses, relying on glycol water, has raised the urge to reduce the energy bill of the slaughterhouses, which was rising considerably up to this evolution. Thus, the 4374 panels of this solar photovoltaic plant, entered into service in January 2020, has reduced by more than 35% the energy bill of this municipal activity.
