Presse release
Casablanca Prestations was given a mandate in 2014 for the modernization and management of meat processing plants in the city of Casablanca. To this end, pivotal projects have since been carried out, in particular, the renovation of the entire cold chain, the extension of the stabling areas (barns), as well as the construction of a new sales room for sheep. In addition, the LDC carried out the repair of the premises (canteen, changing rooms, showers, toilets for the workers), the renovation of the incinerator and the refitting of a negative storage room.
In 2017, the SDL carried out a program to renovate all of the production equipment (slaughtering line, new cooling line, renewal of sprockets, etc.), UV sterilizers for knives, as well as the deployment of a new system of Integrated Plant Management Information (SIGA).
The result of all the aforementioned worksites and projects was crowned in 2016 by the obtention of the approval of the ONSSA (National Food Safety Agency), which is a testament to the high level of health safety of the products from the Casablanca Meat Processing Plants.
This modernization process was completed by the certification process. This enabled Casablanca Prestations to obtain ISO 22000 v2005 in 2017 for the Casablanca Processing Plants, and made it the first to be certified at the national level.
As part of a continuous improvement process, the LDC has just succeeded (in April 2018) at renewing its ISO 22000 certification.
Thus, the products of the Casablanca Processing Plants carry an approval number, certifying a high level of quality and recognition of international health safety. Users have an opportunity to market their products everywhere in Morocco as well as for export.
